What a good news day for my sister, children and the wider family….my B-I-L has just got the all clear. His Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy have done their work! Such a relief to hear… but to all those who are still doing battle….let your victory come soon… x
I’ve got my parcel this morning with an important ingredient needed for my next ebook project….but I haven’t been idle while waiting for my parcel to arrive. I finally started Jet’s (my grandaughter) wallhanging to go with her quilted bedroom curtain. It’s not a moment too soon as I only have 6 weeks to complete both but having said that, I did make an effort to start her curtain last year but life got in the way and there was not enough time for so many projects.
The great thing about this wallhanging is apart from one piece each of fabric for main front, and backing; one F8 (fat eighth of fabric) and an offcut of wadding /batting I’ve been able to use lots of fabrics from my scrap stash bag for the entire wallhanging so it’s worked out very cheap.
Anyway, I’ve been taking photos of the steps for making the wallhanging and will post on here as soon as it’s finished.
Hope you are all having a good day……….
