I’m back from a short break to see my family which was great. I had a lovely time seeing my grandchildren before they go back to school. I did finish Jet’s wallhanging and quilted curtain and they will be put up as soon as her bedroom decoration is finished. She loves both items as does Eden with her wallhanging.
From next week I have to try to juggle working on my ebook number two while having my kitchen replaced. I’m not looking forward to it but it is necessary. Hopefully I can stay focused amidst all the noise and mess and work through for the most part, except for when power is down each day.
I was very, very good and didn’t buy any fabrics while I was away so I’ve been true to my resolution this year and spent only £2.00 for half a metre of fabric (for a future project) this year so far, and as I’m in the Birthday club with my Popular Patchwork online group I know I’ll have squishies (fabrics) coming in October. Yay!
While at the Festival of Quilts I looked at a new sewing/embroidery machine which I fell for….it will enable me to complete my 3 different Swap block quilts, and my next project which is an interesting and special request for my daughter and her hubby so I’m looking forward to starting that as soon as the ebook 2 is complete and published.
Will be dreaming of my new machine until I can get one….hope it’s not too long to wait.
